Outworkers are one of the most hard working people in our community, long hours, little pay, tight dealines. As I’ve discovered, they make beautiful artworks too.

Well executed online interpretation of the iPod navigation. This should be on the Apple website demonstarting the iPods.

I love Expose
Dual monitors can still get quite cluttered, I wonder if a 30 inch Apple monitor would make any difference.

Taking the Piss

Monday, December 13th, 2004

Marcel Duchamp takes a urinal, signs it in 1917 and it gets voted the most important work of art of our time. Beating out two masterpieces by Picasso and a Pop icon by Andy Warhol.

Highlighted bit reads: “But it reflects the dynamic nature of art today and the idea that the creative process that goes into a work of art is the most important thing - the work itself can be made of anything and can take any form”

Narcoleptic G5

Monday, December 13th, 2004

This is just for laughs, and it actually works.
My new G5 has not lived up to my high expectations of an Apple product. It heats up really fast and shuts itself to sleep without any warning. Very annoying when you are in the middle of drawing something or typing an email. I’m sending this DOA Mac back for a new one.

International Human Rights Day

Friday, December 10th, 2004

On December 10, 1948 Eleanor Roosevelt and delegates from over 80% of United Nations member states adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Declaration forms the cornerstone of the modern human rights movement. It sets forth the inalienable economic, social, civil and political rights of every human being. The Declaration serves as both benchmark and beacon. It measures how well human rights are respected and protected, and it lights the path to a better world.

Since 1998, the 50th anniversary of the ratification of the Universal Declaration, people around the world have begun to recognize December 10 as International Human Rights Day.
