Rain Hail

We need constant rain like this all over NSW for at least a week. Not the piss weak trickle that comes down every now and then.

Honey Roasted

I’m not a big fan of asian dance parties, but this is for a good cause. Honey Roasted Tv is a new show airing on Foxtel soon, it will be the first ever Asian Australian TV show screened natioanlly.

Honey Roasted TV is dedicated to showcasing the beauty, richness and complexity of the Asian youth urban culture built in the dark underbelly of the urban metropolises.

Porcelain Green

According to the Pantone Matching System Colorstrology, I’m supposedly Porcelain Green. I don’t doubt the reliability of the PMS swatches to match my printed colours, but I’m not sure if matching it up with astrology really works, I was never a believer in horoscopes.

An Australian film that won 13 AFI awards, something worth seeing, as well as Abbie Cornish. The cinematography was beautiful however I never really got into this movie, I didn’t feel anything for the characters. There was really no deep character development, they seem too surreal. Maybe it was high expections or that damn strobing harbour bridge that Clover Moore has turned into a massive rave coat hanger light. It was good being reminded of what Jindabyne is like during winter, I miss snowboarding!

Getting started on the catalogue for the exhibition I’m co-curating titled, The Fall of Saigon: Collected Fragments of Post 75 Generation. Launching in April to coincide with the 30th year of the fall of Saigon. This project has become a labour of love, working with 3 other amazing designers/artists. Tin, Vinh and Haline.
