Port Stephens

Nelson Bay, Port Stephens
Went away to Port Stephens with a good mate and his family over the long weekend. To quote a newly discovered illustrator/Commerce/Law student from Sydney, Matt Huynh .

My weekend was great, thank you, how was yours?
The highlight was the part where I did nothing!

Well, I did nothing in terms of work, but plenty of relaxing things. Saw lots of Dolphins swimming and feeding, did a lot of beach walking, mountain trekking and eating, very relaxing long weekend. The weather was perfect and the company was great. We also stopped by Newcastle for a quick drive by tour. Newcastle wasn’t what I expected it to be, a steel/coal city. Driving through Newcastle was like driving through Bankstown, Cairns, Fairfield and Parramatta all in one because every few kilometre the environment/houses/scenery changes.

Port Stephens is beautiful, the beaches have clear water and whte sand. We didn’t get to see everything, only staying around Nelson Bay and Fingal beach. Definitely have to go back soon.
