Vietnam Street
March 22nd, 2006
The last time I was in Vietnam, I took this picture from the hotel room I was staying at for the night in Saigon. That day and night really had a bad effect on me because of the overwhelming pollution, heat and traffic that I experienced. I couldn’t wait to get out of there and go to my old home in the My Tho province. Anyway, making the street scene look like a miniature kind of helps me see that it wasn’t that bad. I want to go back soon and visit my grandmother.
Saigon Soldier has some beautiful low res images of Vietnam by a person who has made the first journey back to re discover her roots. She also has a cool blog

That is a very nice photo. As a matter of fact, I thought it was a miniature when I first saw it. Great colors though out and composition. I would love to see a series like this. Good work.
