Japn 2007
Its been something I’ve always wanted to do as a designer, visit Tokyo. We’re flying out today and will be spending 3 weeks in Tokyo and 2 weeks boarding at the snow fields around Sapporo. Its been a mad house for the past 3 months with work and organising, but its all worth it. Sayonara!

iPhone

iPhone
iWant!!!!!

Most interesting thing for me is the multitouch feature, applied from this multitouch research or not? Could this be the forerunner to an Apple touchscreen Mac? I wonder how resistant to scratching the screen will be. Its going to be a long wait for us aussies though, 2008 is the likely release here and most likely Telstra will be the first in line to be the carrier. I’ve used a 3G phone to surf the web and the experience is crap. Lets hope that when the iPhone does make its ways down under, the pairing with a carrier and speed of the service is fast and cheap, wishful thinking there.

Heroes

Monday, January 8th, 2007

Heroes, kinda gruelsome and in your face at times, but this show looks like its going to be a good series. I’ve Been watching the early episodes, its crossed between X-Files and Lost to me. I really like how its been designed and shot. Heroes feels like a comic book translated onscreen and thats a good thing if you’re into comics. I think a strong reason for this is because of Jeph Loeb.
