Facetnate! 2009

The Japan Foundation, Sydney, is now accepting proposals for the Facetnate! 2009 program. Australia-based emerging visual artists and/ or curators are welcome to apply. Proposals will be for visual art works - fine art, craft, film, new media, or other visual art – and should clearly demonstrate a strong Japan influence.

You have until November 28 to get your submissions in.


Local Portraits

Could someone guess your favourite piece of music just by looking at you? And what would this choice say about you? I will be in an exhibition called Local Portraits at the Casula Powerhouse in late September. My favourite song was You’d Better Be Home Soon, by Crowded House. There will be 65 photos in the exhibition, taken by photogrpaher Jim Rolon.
